underwhelming stay, despite location
taxi absence reception attitude

I found several aspects of my stay disappointing. the lack of a dedicated taxi service made transportation difficult. additionally, the staff at reception offered minimal assistance and did not explain important details about the room or nearby facilities. i expected more from an hotel of this supposed caliber. It was frustrating.

The breakfast was quite a letdown. The quality seemed low (i think it was geared towards quantity). It felt overly touristy, not at all immersed in nature as the photos suggest. The staff were just okay, they did not add any extra value to the stay.

Wonderful stay NEAR Santa Claus Village

I enjoyed the proximity to Santa Claus Village. It was only a short walk. The Nordic Cottage was clean and super comfortable. The bed provided a good night's sleep.
There were no toiletries provided in the room, i HAD to ask for them at reception.

The cottage included a sauna. There WAS also a log burner. Views looked over resident reindeer, like Heidi and Gingerbread.

This location IS peaceful. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport. It's next to the Santa Claus Village, with access to all its attractions.
